You mean for F@H or overall? I have a single 7800GTX, which can't even fold, so I think you're in better shape than I.

BTW, has anyone folded with a HD2900 yet? I'm curious how that will perform on the new GPU client, if it's even supported.

sad for the science, there is no way I'm going to be able to process that protein. And from my experience with the GPU folding client lately, my output is in the crapper till my used d905 arrives sometime next week. I used to process 2 WU a day with my vid card, now it takes a year and a half to do 1??? sorry Stanford, it's not going to happen. I also wonder about the 2900xt and folding, but I'm sure a good e4300 rig would blow it away for points production.

hmm, now it says estimated completion is 14:47 Sun15 Jul 07, still that's nearly 2 days on one WU, not very productive.

Probably, but only under the SMP client, though.

It's difficult to believe Stanford suddenly released WUs that take over a year!?! Are you certain about that? I see the pic, but it's still difficult to believe.

OK, so it speeded up, then. Two days isn't too bad when compared to some of the SMP WUs.

Ususally let a WU get past 5% done to get your estimate on when it will finish. Those first few frames are generally slow.

That doesn't make any sense, because one of my GPU machines just fininshed up one of those, and it took 13 hours or so...it's an BBA X1900XTX...

Have you got the card running at 3D speed? Defaults to 2D speed if you don't set it up properly with one of the tools available.

I always found the GPU to be a waste of time. It hijacks your machine, uses tons of power, forces the GPU cooler into high-speed mode 24/7, and was never stable.

I"m running Vista, none of the speed up programs I tried work at the same speeds that worked in XP. I'll finish this WU maybe and shut it down. oh well.

I bet it's a config, driver or stability issue since a GPU wu should be completed in under 1-3 days at most for all. Some drivers version is not working well and Stanford maintain a list of good drivers. Make sure you get Catalyst 7.6, reinstall the client and retry.
