I've been in the market for a dSLR, and came across AVoutpost.com on a search. The prices are super low, which is awesome, but also makes me very cautious. They don't have an entry on resellerratings.com, and a whois lookup says it was created on 1-11-07. So is there any chance that this isn't a scam site?

wow... talk about low prices... im also waiting on an answer

no emails... no phone numbers... seems funny

its a french website... their price could be in euro

edit : nope its in USD ... lets contact them

well their adress exist in Paris , rambuteau streets... i just emailed them too

Well they only have one comment at reseller ratings. So it is probably their own comment. I bet it is all gray market stuff, which means no warranty.

lol if you search avoutpost in google this thread is the first result in fact avoutpost.com doesn't appear atall.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM avoutpost.com.

THEY ARE DEFINITELY SCAMMERS..

Have asked for their phone number and they will not respond..

Take Care

I was just scammed by these crooks by purchasing a camera lens for my D-SLR. I wired them the required payment by money gram and then they fell off the face of the Earth.
