I bought an MSI twin frozen r6930 a few montgs ago and the hdmi is acting up. I want to RMA but I will move to London in a month to study. Should I RMA in China or England?

Before I used dual diplay hdmi + dvi and the hdmi wouldn't always work. No I am only able to test the hdmi and it doesn't display. The fans spin up.

I don't think MSI has any reps here.

You simply need to go on their support and fill out a ticket, they will be able to help you pretty quickly.

Most warranty will only honor RMA in the country it was bought in unless there's a global warranty. Contact the MSI near you and see if they can expedite it (they may charge for that)

Assuming the worst. What should I replace it with? What will give equal performace from AMD/Nvidia?

Also, which manufacturers offer better warranties?

Interesting, not a SKU they have in NA.

Probably a 7870 would be a nice update from it. Otherwise 7850 is equivalent to a 6950.

It's only available in asia, Russia and Ukraine I believe

Do it china, most warranties I have seen require them to be in the country it was bought.

You need to RMA in the country you purchased the card, warranty is actually considered void once you move to a different country. This rule basically goes for every AIB.

I am not an MSI rep but I used to be a moderator in the MSI HQ forum.

Your bet bet is to call and e-mail them to see about what to do, or time frame of current RMA ETAs - and do it as soon as you can since the clock is ticking down.
