wow that is old. i havent seen one of those is a long time. i dont think i have ever seen a mod of it. shouldnt be very different from a regular atx for factor case but alot smaller

I think that I will paint the damn thing black. put blue leds in for the power and hd lights, maybe put a window in the top. hummm still thinking of ideas

Looks like you'll have to rebuild the entire backplane of the case. If you plan on using any expansion cards, you'll probably have to use some risers. As for the mobo itself, I doubt anything bigger than a mATX would fit. It has potential, but would require A LOT of work.

a mini borg comp would be cool... esp. if you could cram a w/c system into that thing (yeah right!)

yeah i'm a trekkie, so what.

I did get the NLX formfactor mobo for it. ;)

Oh, well where's the fun in that? Is it a newer board? I didn't know they still made them. AGP port? Or is this thing going to be a file server w/ onboard video?

I once modded an NLX packard bell with a sledgehammer and a bit of extreme prejudice.

It made a nice window, albeit without plexi.

how big is the mobo on those things? if it's small enough... i might do a mod that i've been thinking of... a comp built into a civil defense radiation meter. thing is, the meter case is ~6"x8" in size. most flexatx and mini-itx boards aren't gonna fit that.

thanks I will check it out. I cant read german, But I will try to understand.
:D

Time to break out the Bondo. Let's just say that front needs a bit of work, especially if you can do without a floppy drive. The rest of the case looks pretty promising, considering you have a board to go with it. Is that power supply a fully compliant ATX unit? If so, that case has a lot of potential beyond NLX specifications.
