Any way to auto-uninstall Office 2007 update?

At my work we're in the middle of migrating a few hundred users from Groupwise to Outlook 2007. The one snag we've run into is that one of the updates (KB946983) causes the email profile configuration to fail. When we ran into a Windows update that caused issues I wrote a batch file that easily uninstalled it. I can't seem to find an equivalent to doing this for Office 2007 products though, we're stuck going to Add/Remove Programs which I don't want our end-users doing. I don't mind having them double-click a batch file to remove a specific update, but playing in Add/Remove Programs is just asking for trouble. Is there something I'm missing; any tool that'll do what I'm looking for? This is on Windows XP machines...

No way to easily uninstall Office 2007 updates without going to Add/Remove? :(
