Does anyone here have any tips for calibrating an IPS display without the use of a Colorimeter or whatever they are called?

Any websites with true color ranges and etc... that I can put on the LCD and do some good old naked eye calibrations?

If there is no real way I can always buy one and take it back (wink wink)... or resale it here.

Thanks

The only tip is to get a calibrated reference IPS monitor as a standard (to visualize "true colors from a website" or from anywhere else).
The monitor which is being calibrated has to be a standard color gamut monitor and have workable set of image controls.

And thanks other poster for the recommendation of side by side.

You are most welcome.
Manual calibration cannot be performed like this:):

Unfortunately, some "professional websites" feed us with tests of this kind.

Best regards.
