Koolance has a bad rep for two reasons: 1. They used to use Aluminum in many of their products... 2. Their products can be very expensive compared to other solutions.

This particular product falls under the second category that I listed... A pump and res shouldn't cost you more than 100$.

Koolances newer blocks and fittings are top notch though.

Thanks for the feedback. I also agree with with about a pump/res not costing more than about $100. But did you notice the electronics (fan/pump)?
