If it's the thermaltake bigwater.. stay away. Stick with air. Go with high end water, or stay with what you have now. It's just not worth having to upgrade from good air to bad water, to good water.
 
some people have long term reliability issues.

the people who use it and don't have the pump die on them after a few months usually talk about how great the kit is.

additionally, most watercooling reviews are pretty half-assed.

i say stay with good aftermarket air coolers until you can afford some good watercooling gear.

The XP-90 is actually better than the 120, but you might consider the Zalman CPS 9500.

In regards to the water cooling, yea, save up some jimmy (if you do plan on doing the H2O route), and get some good quality components. The ability to cherry pick each item in the chain pays huge dividends. No one company make the best components in a complete H2O loop. My $.02

Reviews are usually full of crap. It's like a bribe. Company (tt) gives reviewer free product. Reviewer gives product good marks. repeat.

1 vote for the XP 120.
 
+1 for a TT Typhoon as I own all 3 of the heatsinks listed. i have a 120x38mm panflo on there and my Opteron 165 @ 2.9 each core never loads over 40 in an Antec P180

2nd place goes to the 9500
 
Thanks superjew. If i get the BT i think i might replace the fan with a higher CFM one. Which one would you guys recommend?
