anyone have experince with 300gb maxtor is 16mb buffer, i heard the cache makes a huge dif, and i sure noticed a dif from my 500mhz amd 5400rpm 20gb 2mb cache hd to dual raptors..

maybe anyone have benchmarks, with maybe them in raid 0 compared to raid 0 ratpors, or other raid 9 like normal 8mb 7200rpm drives?
 
I just bought one of them and installed it in my new computer a couple of days ago. I don't have any benchmarks ATM, but I can say that it does seem a bit snappier than my old WD 800JB. Keep in mind though, I upgraded across the board (new mobo, proc, etc) so that may be what I'm noticing.

I'll try to remember to run HDTach tonight when I get home from work and let you know.
