any cable ISPs worth anyhting in the downtown San Jose CA area?

I'm looking to move to cable internet, SBC/Yahoo has burnt me for the last time, and my land line is used so little I can just use my cell phone and save a bit of cash if I was to go to cable.

Now for the real question....are there any cable ISPs in the area. And better yet, does anyone have anything to say about any that are in the area?
