I have to post this, even though this thread will be dead probably the minute i press "submit" hehe

Went on Antec's website because I wanted to purchase their HDD suspension kit(found in the P180 i think) for my Sonata II and it wasn't in the spare part listing... Email them about it and the guy just sent it to me by mail for free...

Now that's complimentary service!

I doubt it would work for a PSU/Case though lol :p

I know a lot of companies give out stuff when you send em snailmail, but I've never heard of it for email.

Antec are great, although the stuff they have sent me appears to be B-grade stock. For example the replacement door & panels they sent for my P180 had some discolouration on the aluminium, and the corners were bent out slightly. Got a nice new tri-cool fan as well though. Can't fault their service.

I think I'm the only one who has trouble with Antec...they really want me to jump through a lot of hoops for simple and common requests, like a replacement P180 panel or a new revision of the Antec 900.

I can understand it somewhat, but still, I don't have the receipt anymore for the P180 I bought damn near three years ago....grr. I keep trying tor a different customer service rep. :(

I have black panels and door for my P180 coming super easy and apparently free of charge once they come off of back order. Antec is totally awesome!

Great experience with Antec support myself.

I bought a Sonata case (first generation) and the front mounted USB ports would not operate at USB 2.0 speeds, as advertised in the literature for the product.

Didn't know I could do anything about it until I read a forum post about another users positive experience with Antec support regarding the same problem. So I created a support request from their website. A day later with no hassles they indicated they would replace it for me no charge. 7-10 days later I had the replacement panel show up in my mailbox.

Got a UPS email...my panels are on the way :D Antec is the best, and gained a loyal fanb0y now too, lol.

I've had great experience with their support too.

I emailed them about a broken Sonata II front panel (told them I broke it myself) and they immediately offered to send me a replacement if I provided a copy of proof of purchase. Well I didn't have any so I told them I will pay for it but they still offered to send me a free replacement :D

nice to hear!

I'm actually surprised to see the many replies... though it would be dead... :D

I have also had excellent customer support from Antec. I got a P180 from Fry's and one of the side panels was a little warped. I emailed them to see how much a replacement panel would cost and they sent me one free of charge within 3 days!!! :D :D

Antec FTW!

I'm in the process of modding my case and messed up the top panel a bit. Sent an email to antec asking if they had a replacement and he replies "all I need is your address to send it out".

:D

Color me impressed.

In a move some of the rubber screws for the fans in my Sonata case were sheered off. Shot an e-mail to Antec customer service. they replied asking what my address was, I responded, and their reply was to let me know that they were in the mail to me. I received it two days later and they gave me extra.
Customer service like this is why my next case will be Antec. I will do everything within my power ot encourage businesses to continue to give exemplary service like this!

Here in Australia there service is horrible, i sent in a psu for repairs and they sent me back a faulty one

I would say that's cheating the system.

while sort of on topic, and now knowing they sell spare parts, can I buy a front panel, and two side panels for my p180 and purchase them in black, assuming they'll fit and look ok?
