Looking for Input on my first SFF box

Looking for an excellent performer for multi-boxing RPG games (yeah I know i'm a nerd, I still play Everquest). Wanting to go SFF this time and would like moderate OC's ie 2.8-3ghz is fine by me but will sacrifice the raw speed for lower noise, so i need recommendations on HSF and case fans please

Another quick question, I'm no n00b to MP systems (have a xeon rig and MP rig) but what i am curious is if XP Pro recognizes all 4 Cores or will I either have to 2003server it or am I stuck with vista?

Are you goint to be running VMware or something? Unless you're virtualizing, I'd recommend going with a good dual core rather than the quad (you won't see any usable improvement from a quad versus a dual core in games yet). XP will see all the cores just fine, as far as I'm aware. looks like an ok build..the hauppage seems out of place for a gaming rig, so maybe a better explanation of your purpose for the build would get more informative replies.

Biggest issue would be cooling, so I'd consider looking through past threads for some good recommendations on CPU cooling and ducting the video card HSF. (I personally am very happy with my XP-120 cooler and scythe fan under the lanbox PSU, but there are several options that will fit).

I'm going with the quad core as I runing multiple instances of everquest (up to 6 copies of the game at once) on my current rig its a dual 2.8ghz 800fsb xeon setup and - can get 3-4 instances running but its bogs down pretty good, I realize that the quad cores aren't any faster in any single game but if you saw what I am normally running at any one time (ie 3-4 ie windows, msn, outlook, media center, azureus, and 2-3 instances of EQ so the SMP world is nothing new to me and I do actually make use of it.

The hauppage is because it will also be acting as a tivo and media server to my 2 HTPC systems in the house as well.
