Hello, just stumbled upon this site.

Looking to do a plp setup and was looking at dell displays.

Would the following be symetrical/best setup?

u2212hm x u3011 x u2212hm

Would that work or is the 2007fp the only option for the wings?

Thanks.

2007fp for the sides - the resolution is 1200x1600 and a close ppi match.

Enjoy a list possible monitor to choose from. If it doesn't say a size, assume it's 20" - 20.1" so it will fit perfectly.
  • Dell 2001fp (S-IPS)
  • Dell 2007fp (S-IPS or S-PVA) [Get an IPS as there is a panel lottery with this model]
  • HP 2035 (IPS)
  • HP LP2065 (IPS)
  • Samsung 204B (TN)
  • Samsung 204T (S-PVA)
  • Samsung 214T (S-PVA [21.5"]) (Don't Recommend) [A bit too big]
  • NEC LCD2090UXi-BK (IPS)
  • NEC 2060NX (S-IPS)
  • NEC LCD2190UXP-BK (S-PVA [21.3"]) (Don't Recommend) [A bit too big]
  • NEC LCD2180WG-LED-BK-SV (? Panel Type [21.3"]) (Don't Recommend) [A bit too big]
  • LaCie 320 Black (IPS)
  • LaCie 720 (S-PVA)
  • LaCie 321 Black (IPS 21.3") (Don't Recommend) [A bit too big]
  • LG L2000CP (IPS)

Yeah stick with 1200 wide on the sides, especially if you intend to use it for web browsing. Anything smaller would just feel really crammed.
