I've been getting this since this afternoon... anyone know what it is ? Extremely annoying.

I found out that if I went in Task Manager and manually setting the affinity for orthos.exe in the processes list and checked CPU 1 , the error stops popping.

But why now? It never did this before

Edit: I re-downloaded it, and if I run in while its still in the .cab file, it will automatically use both affinities... but if I unpack it to my hard drive somewhere, it does it it again. Could it be AVG Internet Security that I installed this afternoon fucking it up?

Are you runnuig memory at normal speeds or are they Overclocked? same question for your CPU?

you have a failing CPU 0 core, or you're OC'd to an unstable point. Raise the voltage, or back off the OC. If you're not OC'd and getting this error, turn off speedstep.

are you manually setting each orhtos instance to a specific core? one to core 0 and the other to core 1? i had the same message when i set them manually like that. Im guessing this happens because orthos can run one instace on both cores. and if you disable it manually you get the message that might lead you to belive something is wrong. again this is just my theory, so dont take it for being the correct answer.
