Animated Gif Creator

Hello all, I am trying to make a really simple animated gif for a banner add. It's pretty much going to just be 3 frames of text and nothing else. Can someone point me to a faq or program that can accomplish such a trivial task? I do have access to photoshop, and I'd be dammed if it could not do it.
 
use ImageReady, I'll try to give you more details but i'm currently working and cannot at the moment

I always use ImageReady for making GIFs
 
Can you give anymore details now? I would really like to know how to do it using image ready. :D
