What exactly is this supposed to show me? I click identify GPU and it just shows the number 1 and I have 2x5870 installed. Shows nothing in the info box either, it is just blank. Same with Xfire configuration tab, click identify GPU and it just shows the number 1 like it does under the diagnostics tab. Seems completely useless unless it is supposed to show more than what I see.

Does the same thing for me, appears useless. Maybe it only has value if your Crossfire config is failing.

Well, at least I now know it is normal behavior, thanks. Maybe it shows nothing because the drivers actually turn off the second card until you run something that would need the second card. I'll test for that later and make the second card turn on and the try the diag.

I have noticed just opening Firefox4 will turn on the second card which seems a bit odd.

Single or Crossfire, I've never seen that "diagnostic" do anything beyond the large "1".

I think all that demonstrates is the location of your primary monitor for all that's worth.

Seems like a complete waste.

I've only seen it display info if the connectors are not attached to the cards for crossfire. It's only designed to inform you of a problem.
