I can't find it anywhere so maybe someone here know what's the performance diffrence beetween AMD phenom II architecture vs Intel core i5 750 @ same clock speeds?

Or maybe to go into a core of my question what would boinc better:

Phenom II X6 @ 4,0 / i5 750@ 4,0 or i5 xeon with HT @ 3,8 ?

PS. And maybe someone knows if i have radeon IGP and nvidia GTX 260 can i calculate something on both of them at the same time?

my i5-750@4.0 gets a best of 12,000ppd. i7-860@4.0 close to 18,000. the phenom II x6 should be close to the 750. forget about folding on any onboard video.

If you can get HT it helps, a bunch.
An i7 930 is the best bang for the buck. Pick it up at MC for $200 and away you go.

I don't have MC here ;)
Prices are more or less:
i3 530 100 euro
i5 750 175
xeon (one with x19 multi and HT) 200
+mobo for 100+
1055T 175
+mobo 75-100
i7 930 250
mobo 170+

That Xeon sounds like the way to go. Kinda like an i7 with the multi and HT.
Make sure you get a nice HSF so you can get it to 3.5 or above ;)

The Xeon with HT would be a better choice than a Phenom II X6. With an overclock you could run -bigadv units on that CPU and get a decent amount of bonus points, which would give you significantly more PPD than you'd get from the Phenom II.
