true, true, but wouldn't it be really interesting if that is the case, considering how badly the nvidia lineup performs , and the fact that both kepler and maxwell already have primitive discard hw accelerationits possible but again, we just don't know what the settings were.
I do agree he does sound like he is a nut hugger for AMD. But he make a lot of very good points too. AMD has secured all future consoles, and developers will be using AMD hardware for future games for PC. Not because they don't want to use Nvidia, but Consoles are the money makers, PC's aren't. We do have to pray that developers think of PC gamers, and some do. Some just shit on PC gamers and release horrible ports.
Either way for PC gamers the next 2-3 months are exciting times!

If he kept it at that, no one can argue what he stated, but the rest of it, was so much BS.......
I disagree, I found his point about AMD winning all 3 upcoming consoles and using that to leverage their strategy of multiple cheap/small GPUs to be insightful. At least I hadn't thought of that implication, and I'm the guy that keeps pointing out that PCper interview. He isn't say anything interesting, there's absolutely no insight in this video.

He didn't actually say NV was giving up on gaming, or that they lost gaming GPU wars forever more. He simply noted that they're expanding their focus to new GPU applications more suited for their strong points in the next gen-- larger higher performance GPUs.
These videos also served as great summaries for people not paying super close attention to the GPU wars.
AMD didn't have tiny/cheap/low-power/mainstream GPUs last generation. That's what's insightful, that AMD may fill those console upgrades with multiple GPUs rather than a new giant semicustom SoC.
If this is what people pay attention to I can see where the skewed perceptions are coming from.
AMD had won the console contracts last generation too... Where's the revelation ? You hadn't thought of it until now? Well, better two years late than never !
All the talk about wafer yields was BS
Assuming future consoles will feature amd multi-gpu and that this will spell doom for nvidia
come on.
this isn't just baseless conjecture, it's low effort baseless conjecture
Well, I don't think he was doomy and/or gloomy either. He didn't call for NV's death, he just spoke about what could be a very smart strategy for AMD.
The author is reading the thread, let him respond. Wantapple, were you digging NV's grave?
I assumed it was, as he posted the thread. Could be my bad-- maybe not?
LOL although that was really funny, he isn't the author lol.
Just need that spider-man song by the Asian singer in the background!
Heh is he a notorious troll around here or something?
Nah, just a lucky boy who drives a gtr and came here to c how razor and his girlfriend leldra reply crap.
Nice save!I like them black and long lol, my cars nothing else,
