Link to AMD's graphics demo here. Haven't tried it yet to see if it works with 5800 series though.

Also looking for any SDK 2.3 reviews/improvements (which should be substantial), if anybody has, please post link.

I miss the days of tech demo battles. Now we're lucky if we get one. I've liked ATI's demos more so than NVidia in general and I especially liked the sequence ones.
 
Works well with my 5870! Not the best "looking" demo, but tech wise it's really interesting. I would suggest installing it on an SSD, or letting it run at least 2 or 3 times so texture loading is not a possible slowdown. Also a Quad Core, and even HT helps (funny that coming from AMD).

Wire Frame & Physics modes (amongst others) are really nice to analyze what is going on. Wire frame shows the excessive(?) amount of 3d items being used as a demo.
