new to amd's so i need to know what is the cheapest/best heatsink & fan? will also be doing some oc'ing and i have some artic silver 5 for my paste
 
Cheapest? Or best? You can't have both... ;)

Look at Thermaltake coolers for a lower-cost option. If performance is more important to you, I'd suggest looking at the Swiftech or Thermalright coolers, but they cost more.
 
yeah definatly you wanna get the best you can afford, thermalrights kick ass, thermaltake sare pretty decent for the cost but they can be pretty loud, the best part about swiftech and thermalright heatsinks other than the build quality is the ability to install almost any fan you want.
 
Cheapest Thermaltake Silent Boost ($30+shipping includes fan) The best would be the new Thermalright XP-120 with your choice of 120mm fan ($50 + fan + shipping).
