I ran out of CD-R blanks, and was looking up Amazon to see what's available. I stumbled upon this (all are links to Amazon):

CD-R
DVD-R
DVD+R

Who manufactures these optical discs? How does their quality rank compared to Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony, etc? Can they be considered a worthy alternative to the above manufacturers?

Thanks guys.

Never used them myself, might be a good idea to post the question over at the MyCE.com forums (previously known as CDFreaks.com, still can't figure out why they changed the site name... bleh). Somebody over there would more than likely have an answer faster than here considering they blow through several thousand discs a week just testing them for quality...

I skimmed through the reviews at Amazon and apparently nobody cares enough to point out the media code so you'd be able to know who actually manufactures them, no real surprise there. Probably some Promedia or Ritek stuff I'd guess.
