I'm researching my next system. I'm planning on buying a dual core chip in july when the prices get cut. I thought I was gonna just do a socket 939 system with an asus a8n32. I plan on overclocking it as close to 3 ghz as I can get. Ive been thinking though. The am2 socket chips are not any more expensive and as long as I need to buy a new mb anyway maybe I should just go with an am2. Now the only thing holding me back is that I would need some ddr2 ram. I've allready got the top of the line corsair ram in ddr form that I was gonna just throw in the 939 mb. Also the asus m2n32 board I was gonna use seems to top out the fsb around 266. So what do you guys think. Socket 939 or am2?

Personally I'd wait until the AM2 processors start hitting retail and everyone gets their hands dug in. It's nice to see research and hard numbers when purchasing new hardware. I just don't think now is the best time to make the decision if you can wait.
