I am about to buy some parts to build my first computer, and my friend has helped me choose some parts for the computer work that I do. Although I have all of the basic parts it still feels like I'm missing something? Here is the list.

Dynex 500 watt case, HELP WITH FANS AND COOLING, Antec Neo power supply, 4 port usb, Sound blaster 5.1 chanel sound card,ATi Radeon 9600 pro graphics card, HELP WITH VIDEO CARD, Kingston 1gb Ram, two maxtor 80gb hardrives ,
And I was tryingn to decide on a higher end processor, preferably a 64bit with at least 2.8Ghz of speed.
If I am missing anything , please fill me in or recommend any updates that would make my computer better for little or no more money.
Thanks.

What kind of work do you do? I assume it's going to be used for some gaming. If it is, then I'd go with an AMD proccessor. With your current configuration specs, something like the 3200. Unless, of course, you already have an Intel-based motherboard.

Yea, it will mostly be used for gaming , and some occasional school work :p . Im almost positive i'll be going with AMD , and thanks for the recomendation on the processor. I like the new 64bit chips. Other than that the only thing that I am wondering about is fans and cooling...?

Thanks
