Am I doing this correctly?

I set the ram divider to 166 from 200mhz so I can run the cpu at 9x250 and my ram speed are currently at 204.xx mhz.

Question is what timing should I be using? The 166mhz or 200mhz timing?
I'm currently using 2.5-3-3-7

Is my preformance better with this settings or the default settings would be better?

Would it worsen if I set the ram divider even lower? say 133mhz and if I do this.. what timing should I use?

System specs:
ASROCK 939Dual-SATA2
Athlon 64 3000+ Vience core
Gskill 1gb PC3200 ram

Well, Right now your ram is running just a tad over stock, nothing wrong with that. The only other option you have right now is to run it at 1:1 (which means it'd be running at 250mhz), and I'm not sure that ram can do that.

To answer your question, it *would* technically worsen it a little by running a bigger divider.

EDIT: I hate that they don't actually give us the divider numbers anymore IE: 166 divider is cpu/13 or 2/3 cpu bus , 200 divider is cpu/11 or 1/1 with the cpu bus...

Keep the 2.5-3-3-7 setting. If you use the 133 divider, you would only be at about 160 on the ram. If you can run 9x300 with 133 divider, you'd be at 2.7ghz on cpu and around 192 on the ram. That would be a nice overclock, good luck.

a 1t command rate will give better system response providing your still stable.
tighter timings will make the pc seem to be faster...
