Hi, just want to know if what Im doing is right. Ived just installed all the components for my WC, now my question is which is first on the loop and so on?My set-up now is reservoir-radiator-pump- chipset block-cpu block-reservoir. Am I doing it right?.

There's not a perfectly right and wrong way to do it. Anything will work. But if your case/placement allows it, it seems most people would change that a little bit.

1. A lot of people think it's best to keep the reservoir full of cold water, so you'd have to place the radiator before that.
2. The pump should pull from an area with minimal resistance, such as the reservoir.

So what I would do, again if your placement allows without excessive tubing, is:

reservoir --> pump --> CPU block --> Chipset block --> radiator --> reservoir

However, if you've got the radiator mounted in the front of the case, it's probably a lot easier to do it the way you have it now.

Either way should be okay.

The pump should come directly after the reservoir as stated above for the reason stated above. If the pump were to be pushing out liquid faster than it is taking it in it would put a lot of strain on the pump and shorten its lifespan. Some run diff setups and get away with it but its a needless risk unless your setup absolutley requires it.

Beyond that the order of componenets does not matter. Most go Pump>rad>CPU>GPU>Res>Pump. I dont see any reason for why you would particularly want cold water in the reservoir more than anywhere else in the loop.
