Aluminum Plate?

Just curious where a trusted dealer of thin aluminum plate [like brushed aluminum or circular brushed aluminum finished plate] might be found.

I need 1/4" or similar aluminum panels for an all custom case mod for my dual xeon.. i need two plates, roughly 3 feet by 3 feet preferably finished. I also need to know of any laser cutting establishments that arent insanely expensive. i could use plexi if i needed to, but im aiming at full on aluminum here.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try Online Metals (www.onlinemetals.com)? I used them to buy a thin sheet of 10" by 24" by 2mm aluminum to make another top for my PC75.

Geeze I wouldn't order a 3ft sheet online. Look locally. You'll be paying bigtime if you want it online.

Also, consider finishing it yourself to save some $

My sheets were about $10 each, and they were cut to size. I found some at a few places here, and they wanted more for the sheets, and charged for the work. Those end results were overpriced, Online Metals wasn't in my case, so I used them. I'm glad I did.

either the internet is getting overpopulated with those "search result" pages with results from the words u typed into google, or my googling skills are getting worse cuz i cant find alot of stuff im looking for.

i'm thinking about getting some aluminum to go inside my G5 case i'm going to mod this summer, i thought the aluminum would be good to hold the cd drive and what not.....what kind of aluminum would i order from that onlinemetals site, there are a few different kinds....??

use standard old 6061, you can also pick this stuff up a most hardware stores, next to the all-thread and the angle iron.
