anyone used one? i haven't been able to find any reviews on it and im trying to decided between that and the thermalright slk948u. the alpha is alot cheaper and i've had good experience with them before but i cant find any reviews on it yet to get any kind of comparision.

the only thing that i have found out about the 948u is that you must remove the backplate on the motherboard to install that. i really dont feel like doing that. so the 8150 installs with that backplate on. sounds cool.
so that leaves me with the 7000a-cu or 8150. the review i saw of the 8150 it was just 1c over the 948u under load. as for the 7000a-cu, it ends up at 44c underload with 25c ambient on a 3400+@stock.
the 8150 is at 40c load with 22.1c ambient on an a64 3200, the 948u is just one under than on the same setup.
imho, it seems they all perform about the same. its just up to the ease of installation in my book. that it looks as if the pal8150 is the easiest.
