We are lazy and do the Alexa thing for lights, thermostat, alarm clock, music, video conferencing .. and now XBOX.

We have an XBOX One w/Kinect and we were actively yelling at Cortana to wake up, pause, play, go to sleep. Cortana has a hearing problem and it would get frustrating at times.

A buddy of mine gave me his XBOX One S with a non functioning disc drive (of which I don't ever use anyways). The S became or primary XBOX upstairs but the Kinect doesn't just plug into it like it does with the standard XBOX One... so I got the XBOX skill for Alexa to give it a go... Alexa listens waaaaay better than Cortana/Kinect. You have to be a bit more wordy, but generally you only have to say things once instead of 3-4 times.

Good times for us lazy people :)
