I dont have the luxury of having an 8x agp that is P4 compatible so I was wondering if anyone felt like expirementing with two similar setups having the variable be 8/4x agp. I know it was never that big of a deal but with better textures requiring more memory now Im wondering if it would effect it much. I've been looking for awhile and haven't seen any AGP bandwith comparison benches even moderately up to date.
 
bump.. or if someone could link me some info on what type of changes i could expect that'd be nice too :)
 
k i did it myself an the result was .. 45.78 fps (cs source stress test) on the 8x agp system (barton 2500) and 46.34 fps on the 4x agp system (2.4b). i had medium settings with a 1280 resolution in the test.
