• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hey guys,

What is with the adverts in forum text? I mean the highlighted words like memory or XFX Geforce

Is it my side? Only shows up in certain posts, never noticed it on the forums before today.

IntelliTXT In-Text Advertising
A relevant, convenient, user-driven ad unit. IntelliTXT helps you view advertising on your own terms.

IntelliTXT Respects Your Privacy:
IntelliTXT is an advertising unit, similar to a banner ad. Advertising messages are triggered by a user mousing-over a double-underlined word. These links and their associated ad units are delivered in partnership with websites. This advertising unit is distributed through the website you are visiting. Click here for the full IntelliTXT privacy policy.

IntelliTXT in Principle:
IntelliTXT ad units are always identified with "double-underlines" and each mouse-over box is clearly denoted with the word "Advertisement". IntelliTXT ad units are delivered in real-time and deployed after the article has been published by the website. This is an automated process that cannot influence, or be influenced by the Editorial Team at this website or any other partner publication.

Vibrant Media is dedicated to administering in-text advertising responsibly and is an active member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Online Publishers Association (OPA). We have established guidelines and standards for best practices in-text advertising.

Please click here to review Vibrant Media's IntelliTXT Guidelines and Standards.

In short it's a way for the owners to generate revenue which in turn keeps the forum operating. ;)
