So I have my current system stable at 2.6Ghz but I plan on adding 2 more sticks so I have 2gigs in here. Should I have any problems if I just pop them in. Them both being the same type of ram. Also with 2x512 more ram would I have a chance of OCing higher or not likely?

Is the How to OC a 939 still around? and the programs to use, I did this all awhile ago and now I sorta forget since it was a hell of a lot more complicated than OCing Bartons haha.

You'll have a harder time running 4 sticks of ram than 2 sticks of ram at anything over stock Ram frequencies.

A higher divider will allow you to use all 4 sticks, and still keep your CPU up to speed... But you might need the DDR266 divider.

So what do you suggest I set things at? Cause I don't have a clue to tell you the truth. I'de imagine the added ram will somewhat makeup for loss of clock speed if I do lose anything.

Well, the 4 bank interleave setting (which is enabled with 4 DIMM's) will somewhat offset the fact that you're going to have to run your RAM at a slower speed.

What is your current FSB and Multiplier?

whats a good program to show all this? I forget which one is the one where u see all your settings and can test them on your desktop by instead of your bios?
