Active Noise Canceling Open Back Headphones?

Today I wondered why aren't there any open backed active noise canceling headphones?

Is it possible? Are there any I am not aware of?

I know it may seem counterintuitive, but there are certainly sound advantages to open designs which are difficult if impossible to replicate within a closed design. (I LOVE soundstage)

If it bleeds sound I wouldn't care, but I do care about it lowering the listener's noise floor.

Strange question I know. I'm not really expecting an answer, but it does make me wonder.

It's a bit of an oxymoron to have an open back headphone that's supposed to suppress noise.
