Acrylic question

Hey everyone. I feel like I want to get a clear acrylic case such as this one, http://www.xoxide.com/clearacatxca.html , but I had a quick question. I heard they run warmer compared to aluminum cases. But by how much? I have a AMD X2 +4400 and one (soon to be two) 8600 GTS cards. Will this run too hot do you think?

I just put acrylic in my case for the window, and the CPU is running hotter, but I think it's half because I'm using some less CFM fans and such... but the CPU is definitely running hotter. I don't know if using acrylic is going to make a HUGE difference in your case. Just make sure you have good cooling and airflow through the case and it should be fine.

those acrylic cases are horrible they scratch when you even wipe them with a cloth.... the temps in them are fine if you have some good fans going.

if you want a QUALITY acrylic case then buy a Danger Den one.... the temps in mine are great and the quality is second to none.

I built a computer in a Sunbeam UFO Cube and put in a couple of higher cfm fans rather than the stock ones it came with and it runs pretty cool....the only complaint i have about it is that you have to watch what cpu cooler you put in and pci cards because there isn't a lot of clearance between the top of the case and mobo....another thought is that the hdd was slightly warm..not warm enough to worry tho...but i put in a fan to help move air over it and it dropped the temp...
i havn't gotten any scratches in it from wiping w/ a cloth..but i was using clean soft ones..the only scratch i got in it was when i wasn't paying attention and ran my screwdriver against the side ...
