Is the Acer GD235HZ any good by today's standards? I'm thinking about it as it's relatively cheap and I can buy it from reputable sources with easy return policies.
I've already returned 2 Samsung PX2370s and 1 HP 2509b. All had at least 1 dead pixel and at least one other minor issue and I'm going to be hit with restock fees for both of the Samsungs. I refuse to live with dead pixels on a new monitor.
For what it's worth, I'd probably order the Planar SA2311W but, in my opinion, there are no reputable stores with good return polices to buy from. I may consider the Alienware 23" model but I'm still thinking about it.
