I just got this thing yesterday and noticed that the text is blurry, I'm not sure what would be causing this. It is hooked up DVI my 19" CRT had no problems like this but is was hooked up with the D-Sub. Is a little text blur normal?
The native resolution of the acer AL2216WD is 1920x1200. However, when it is hooked up using DVI there is a bug that prevents you from setting the resolution to 1920x1200, and instead the highest you can go is 1680x1050. Since LCDs only have 1 "true" resolution, anything other than the native looks blurry because it gets interpolated/resampled to the native resolution. As a result due to the Acer not being able to do 1920x1200 over DVI you end up with an interpolated blury image.
