Im about to order the following and just want to make sure everything is going to be compatible.

I'm right up to what I wanted to spend, BUT what would you guys suggest I change for the better? Is this a good choice for ram? I dont know much about ram and most likely wont overclock it.. should I save some money and go the value select route?

I don't know what you'll be using this for (I'd guess gaming, of course), but that harddrive might be a little on the small side, depending how many games/how much music/how many backed up movies you'll have on it.

Otherwise, it looks good, just so long that PSU is enough (good brand, but I don't know if 380w will be enough).
 
ya i was kinda worried about he psu as well, but I read a few reviews and as long as im not running a 6800gt and multiple HDD's i should be ok
 
Looks like a solid system to me.

If you are not overclocking, there is no reason not to get some regular PC3200. Go with Crucial, Kingston, or Corsair Value. You won't need to buy a matched pair either, it's really unnecessary if you're not overclocking, IMO. I'd take the extra cash and drop it on a larger hard drive.

How much?

Corsair value ram (PC3200) normally will hit at least 210-215 mhz in my experience.
 
200mhz or so... think I should get the better ram? in just a brief answer what does the better ram enable for overclocking with the cpu?
 
FSB * Processor multiplier = CPU speed

So, if you're just going to OC 200 or so MHz, you should be fine with regular RAM.

However, YMMV
