ABIT AN-M2HD

LOL. And it's still not available yet too. Why does everyone seem to do paper launches nowadays? :)

here in sweden i found the first for sale...
AN-M2 and AN-M2HD
i don't know if i should give it a try...
what was, again, the difference in the integrated graphics between the two?

The integrated graphics is newer and improved but by how much I don't know.

not in stock though & it's been up for pre-order on an UK site for a while.
Current eta from that site is 12th June.

Given the dearth of mobos available in retail using the new 70x0/630 chipset it looks to me that there has been a delay on nVidia's end with the chipset - afaik they were originally meant to be in the shops at the start of April.

Integrated graphics is marginally faster (now it's slightly faster than AMD's 690G which is slighly faster than the old 6150). Main difference is HDMI output so they can still compete w/ AMD's 690G which has an HDMI output.

Unfortunately, it's not fast enough to decode H.264 HD content (bluray/HD-DVD)...you need at least an 8600GT for that or the next generation of IGP that won't be announced until the end of the year (and really available in the spring if nVidia's scheduling repeats itself)-:
