I started this project about a month ago from the ground up. I did a custom paint job and some metal work on a NZXT Tempest Elite case. Not the fault of the case but after completing the work i just wasn't happy with the final product. Even though I'm scraping this project and moving on to a new case I thought you all would like to see what I did. This was going to contain a new 2700k with the new Asus Sabertooth mobo and some sniper ram. The CPU was going to be water cooled with a custom loop using UV green coolant to look radioactive.

I agree that the yellow might be why i was a bit turned off in the end.

Is it a bright yellow? The pictures dull it out. Maybe a nice clear coat would get it to shine?

Nice work, but as has been stated by all and yourself, the yellow just kills it. I would dirty it up. Reapply a black base coat over top of the yellow. Add the stripes back and distress the crap out of it. Make it look like it has seen combat. :) There is still potential in this one, nicely done!

I think this would be a great idea. Make it look worn, beat it up a bit. It's just too clean for the look you were going for, imo. Great otherwise.

i like the fan grilles, thats very clever. Can't wait to see some action pics where the fans are spinning.

I'd blackwash it, throw down some bare metal effect at the corners and edges and go from there. No need for a new case, just a new perspective.
