Aamzing directed sound

Back in 96 they made crstal speakers based on ultrasound phase cancellation, which allowed 4 inch speaker elements to produce sound from 1hz to 20khz. Problem was it never took off very well. It seems they just don't have very good ties with anyone who would build this stuff.

The Crystal speakers were supposed to be a Carver offering...Sadly this was never to be. I guess the marketdroids that ran the place after Bob Carver left prolly decided that something like that would not be sellable. I know I would have gladly sold a testicle for something like that...spekaers the size of Bose cubes that give a true full range sound...why wouldn't I?
