I know that setting AA and AF hgher makes stuff look good but which one does which. I know one takes out jaggies or sumtin and the other?? BTW I did try to search this. Weird stuff coems on on google too. No actualy definition.

aa is the jaggy destroyer

AF is a bit more complicated... In short it makes things seen in the distance less blurry as compared to what is up close.

texture filtering technique

there is also Anisotropic Lighting

but in the sense of gaming what you can control from the game or control panel is Anisotropic Filtering, texture filtering
