AA & AF weirdness

Hi - got a bit of an issue that I'd like your take on, please.

Initially though I had probs with D3 (I run in 16*12 - HQ) because in places it got choppy. Minutes before I had been running UT2K4, again 16*12 but with 4*AA & 4*AF. Even though I had gone into my settings and selected App Pref for both AA& AF b4 going into D3, for some reason D3 carried on regardless with the 4*AA setting in particular.

The only way I can get it back to App Pref, it would seem, is by selecting whatever AA, applying, then selecting App Pref, then applying and Ok'ing that. Same with UT2k4, but the other way round (because I want AA&AF there).

It's not like it stop me playing games, however, it can be a pain when I forget and am loading 37456837456GB's of map in D3 & I have to exit & fix!

Any help much appreciated.

Ended up setting up profiles for each game, that seems to have done the trick.

The [H]-force was with me :D
