I have an a8n-sli DLX flashed with 1303 premium bios. I am having problems with my voltage at 1.5 and higher. The voltage fluctuates from 1.47 to 1.53+. The farther I bump up the voltage the higher the fluctuation. Tried flashing back to 1805's and experience the same problem.
I have looked over the board and all the caps are fine. My mosfet doesn't appear to be too hot. Due to the cooler and fan I have on the CPU I can not easily mount a fan to see if it will help alleviate the problem.
I have checked VR Zone but all I find is Vdimm and Vcore mods. Will the Vcore mod better regulate the voltage? If any one could point me to a vdroop mod I would much appreciate it. I have looked through numerous forums and posts on the A8n-sli series while this seems to be a common problem with the board I have not been able to find out if/how anyone fixed it.
A couple of posts point to a weak PSU but my PSU rails hold steady on full load, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. If anyone can give me some pointers that would be great. I can hold 2.73 stable all day long at 1.46v actual and the voltage stays stable but bumping from there it's all over the place.
