A7N8X-Deluxe reporting wrong CPU temp

I'm talking 78°C when my own thermal probe is reporting 45°C....

what could that be?

I had this issue with my board - simply put update your bios to the newest setting - if you are using hardware monitoring software - you may have to reload it to get the proper readings after the bios update. What software you using to get the temps? (I suggest motherboard monitor)
