A700 connection help....

Ok my A700 just came in today....they are amazing but i have some connection issues
**I Have an X-Fi xtrmem Gamer fatality and Z-5300E 5.1 Speakers**

1- All my connecters in the back of the X-fi are used up.....except the one for the mic (which is used now for the mic that is connected to my Headphones)

2- I have a control panel thing that is used for the Z-5300e and on the control panel it has a headphone jack..(the Z-5300e is connected to the X-fi)

3- Since the Z-5300 Are connected to the X-fi, Should i Hook up My Headphones to the Control Pod? and Wikll i Still get the Quality from the X-Fi
 
That is a choice. Not a good one b/c the logitech headphone jack is awful. Try it then plug it into the jack by your microphone on the X-Fi and see what sounds better. Having to plug and unplug is not convenient but the alternative is $$.

Truthfully, the A700 sounds much better than the logitechs anyway.
 
it did sound better but i was wondering if there is a splitter or something in which i can use both
 
sure. go to radio shack and get a y-splitter. it has a small 1/8th jack and two 1/8th female ends. there probably will be less power going to both but I am not sure about that. it is cheap to try anyway. give it a shot b/c the next step is $$.
