A64 overclock issue with ram, need help

Okay I have a A64 3200+ which will do 2.6 ghz. Vcore @ 1.5, Chipset @ 1.65, Vdimm @ 2.8

I have an Epox 9NDA3+ with latest bios. My problem is when I overclock the CPU I can do that fine, I set my Max Memory clock to 100 mhz because that is how the dividers on the epox work. Anyways for some reason I can't get my memory to do anything past 145mhz in CPUZ at overclocked speeds. If I boot at 220 x 10, I can have my ram running at 200mhz divider.

What do I have to change to correct this problem.

My Ram is Kingston Hyper X Pc3500 2 x 256 in dual channel.

First off, that was the most confusing thing ive ever read, with that out of my way I understand that you can run it fine at at 290htt w/ 1:2 divider. Now your memory is rated for 218mhz, so the best divider to use would be 2:3 which should be 133mhz on your board if its there. Which will give you a memory speed of 193mhz, not quite 218mhz but as close as your going to get with a htt of 290.

If that isnt what you needed let me know and please create coherent sentences. =)
 
Alrighty then, first lets take your cpu outa the equation, put ur htt down to 145mhz and set the memory divider at 200mhz 1:1. Then see how high it will go, it should be able to go up to 218mhz and beyond with no problem though. So ensure that your timings + command rate are set correctly.
 
Ive been staring at this "If I boot at 220 x 10, I can have my ram running at 200mhz divider." shortly after I posted that.

If your timings and command rate are set correctly the only thing I can think of thats worth changing is the ldt which probably wont do anything seeing how it has nothing to do with the ram divider, but thats all ive got to suggest.

Have you tried changing your max memory to 166? I know with my board, the max memory settings are 100, 133, 166 and 200.
 
I'm not sure as to what to set my timings to I tried 2-3-3-8 and that didn't work. Yes I tried my ram at 100, 133, 166 when I oc it it won't boot.

My htt is at 3X
My FSB is at 290
My Ram is at 100

If i try anything over 100 when I am at 290 x 9 it won't boot

If I try anything at 200 setting and do 230 x 10 it won't boot either.

I'm baffled
