A Reoccuring problem with my Audigy 2 ZS Platinum

When I go into the Creative Speaker Settings it only allows me to choose from 7.1 Surround Sound whether I have my HD595's plugged in or my Z2300 2.1's plugged in. How do I fix this? I can still go into the Windows Control Panel and choose stereo speakers, but in the Creative software, I can not.

Remove the driver and use driver cleaner to remove the crap left over and reinstall the drivers.
