i know people like to post their socket temps as actual temps.

if my cpu temp(diode) on a mobile 2600 never reaches above 67 celsius,
should i be good?
and is 67 under load (prime torture test for couple hours)
anything to be concerned about?
idles around 49-51 celsius

and yes this is at stock voltage with a newly purchased silent boost
silent boost=shit

it'll run fine for 8 months to a year, and then it'll crap-out  ,
i've seen it happen to 2 hot running cpu's before...

from what i can tell of most people in these forums, they change their cpu's every 2 months, so if you're one of them then don't worry about it man.... :)

im pretty sure u used something other than bios to read ur temps but what does bios say ur temps are? i dont have a seperate thermometer to read temps for improved accuracy so i just go by the bios and MBM5

try remounting the heatsink following these instructions carefully. and if you have a nice looking heatsink base, you don't need quite as much as they say you do.

used mbm5,speedfan
i think its this silent boost

its now running at 42 at 2.3 ghz now under load since im pumping less volts into the cpu(1.5)

i think im gonna let it chill at this
