Iam building a setup for my friend which has 2 x 22" and 2 x 17" tft monitors. I was thinking about getting a Asus M2R32 motherboard and couple 1650pro cards to provide the picture for these monitors.

The question is about hydravision software. I have never used the software before, anything to consider here or is it fairly simple piece of software? Also anything to consider before installing OS to this setup. Should I install only one 3D card first, install drivers for it in XP and after that install the second 3D card or whats the most fluent way of doing this kinda setup? I presume I do not have to install ATI CCC in separate occasions for each of these 3D cards.

For multiple monitors you really should go nVidia. Hydravision sucks in comparison to nVidia's implementation (it'll work but nVidia's drivers are easier to work with)

As for the hydravision software no considerations are needed. Just install CCC then hydravision afterwards. Make sure CCC detects both your cards correctly and everything should work fine.
 
My friend was completely happy with the ATI CCC way of handling multiple monitors. In fact, I was too positively suprised how easy and neatly multiple monitors handled them selfs even with the basic CCC. :)
