9800xt mem sinks

They're not that useful with tape on them. I soak mine in brake cleaner until the tape dissolves. Throughout my testing, I haven't seen much difference between OCZ, Tweakmonster, CompUSA, and the Frozencpu.com sinks.

after u soak the tape off what do u apply on it to stick to the cards memory?

I used some and removed the tape like the other guy said but I spread out the fins a bit to maybe cool it better.
Here a copy and paste of my card in the mod section.

Heres my Sapphire 9800XT with a 3/4 inch think base of copper and aluminum rods used for AMDs (swifttech) but not today.Tapped the holes and used screws and springs for tension as you can see with nylon washers.
Used AS5 on the gpu and memory but on the memory I put a dab of artic silver on the corners to hold them on.
Thats a 5200 RPM magnet fan thingy.Ive got 1 on my cpu also.

Used artic Alumina to mount the NB cooler on the back of the gpu.

wow nice card setup u got there. I was wondering if I should leave the stock heatsink on the back and just put the OCZ's on the GPU side, or should i put the OCZ's on all 8. I ordered 8 of them because I wasnt sure. And what did u use to fan out the heasinks?

I take it that Arctic Alumina isn't conductive? I've been looking for a paste or epoxy that isn't conductive so I can put a heatsink on the back of my card, just as you did. The back of my 9800pro gets quite hot after a while of gaming.
