9800xt giving me problems???

all of a sudden when i go to play enemy territory, my pc locks up within about 5-10 minutes of play! sometimes the monitor will go blank and the power light turns orange, but i can still hear the game so i know its still running. other times it will actually shut my pc down and BIOS will load up. still other times it will just start skipping like a broken record until i restart the pc by holding in the power button. i have a 9800xt, winxp pro, abit nf7-s 2.0, any ideas what the issue is??

Do other games have the same problem? Try running 3DMark03 or 05 and see if the system locks up in the same amount of time. Check the fan on the card and make sure it is working, I had the same issues when my fan died on my old Ti4200.
